Security Mirrors

For interior uses acrylic mirrors are generally most suitable. It's light weight (1/3 that of glass) and high strength give it a strong lead over glass.

Two curvatures are available. 90° gives the largest image size, and 180° for an all round view at T junctions. Where possible the 90° version should be used giving a much clearer view.

For shops and offices the FV series is very suitable. The more rugged WI type is designed for factories and warehouses.

We also have a range of full, demi, and quarter hemispherical dome types for wide angle use. These can be mounted high up to permit all round viewing.

As a low cost, general purpose mirror the FV 4230 is excellent, with an easily adjustable wall mount.

Our polycarbonate interior mirrors are fully described under high security.

We have a wide range of these mirrors, suitable for all situations. For most applications acrylic is best. It is inexpensive, shatterproof and light. If vandalism is a likely problem Polycarbonate is useful, we have 90° and 180° versions. This material is almost unbreakable and vandal resistant mounting are supplied as standard.

Stainless Steel is also highly vandal resistant and the MT version is self-cleaning and anti-condensation. The benefit of the self-cleaning and anti-condensation mirror is illustrated here.

All MT mirrors have a reflectivity and image quality as good as the best glass mirrors. Please note that all the plastic versions can be fitted with heaters as an option.
